CrystalBridge® Monitoring KPI display fails with message “Problem: Not enough memory resources are available” – Message no. /DVD/JSC001

When trying to display a custom-sized grid, you can receive the following error in rare cases: Problem: Not enough memory resources are available.

It is likely that the error occurs when operating system resources are low on the CrystalBridge® Monitoring application server.

In a recent case, there was no information in the SAP work process trace file, but a trace in ST01 showed the following information:

As a workaround, start transaction /DVD/MON_INIT. This will initialize the setup for the current user and then try to display the KPI charts again.
