Scheduling the Monitoring of KPIs

You can start the monitoring of default KPIs automatically. The default monitoring automatically creates and starts collector jobs with default monitoring profiles. To start it, in the menu bar, click Start default monitoring.

If you assigned a new monitoring profile to a default KPI or created a custom KPI, you need to create a collector job to start the monitoring of the KPI. A collector job runs periodically as a background job.

A prerequisite for executing the monitoring is to assign a monitoring profile to a KPI. To do so, see the chapter Defining Monitoring Profiles for KPIs.
