Store Data Defined Through a Time Interval

You can save time intervals in order to maintain a historical reference of collected data for selected systems. CrystalBridge® Monitoring deletes data older than the retention time as standard. However, if data is saved in a time interval, it is not deleted. Therefore, you can use this step to return to or to store collected data.

Proceed as follows to define a time interval that stores data:

  1. Under System landscape, select systems or servers.

  2. Perform one of the following steps:

    1. Change the From – To dates to define the time interval and times and press Enter.

    2. Click the time split button to select a time period from the drop-down list.

  3. Optional: Enable the Autorefresh option to refresh the charts in the specified time interval.

  4. Click Save on the right side.

  • A pop-up is displayed in which the description is automatically filled with the first system, which you selected in the system tree.

  1. If you selected several systems in System landscape, you you have the following time interval options:

    1. System ID: one System ID is used.

    2. All checked system in system pool tree: If you save a time interval for several systems, CrystalBridge® Monitoring creates separate variants of time intervals for all selected systems and replaces the <SID> placeholder with the name of the system.

NOTE When you save a time interval only for selected servers, the time interval is saved under the system ID that belongs to the server.
  • The created time interval is displayed and can be loaded from the Saved drop-down menu at the top right-hand side. The drop-down menu includes all the saved time intervals.

TIP You may also display all the saved time intervals by selecting System Settings and double-clicking Time intervals.
