Application Logs

When the NLS Writer loads and deletes requests in InfoCubes, the information is recorded in the application log. You can access the application log via transaction SLG1.

Proceed as follows to access the NLS Writer logs:

1. Start transaction SLG1.

2. In the Object field, enter /DVD/NLS_W2.

3. In the Subobject field, enter /DVD/NLS_W2_CUBE.

4. Specify the External ID field according to the following NLS Writer operations:

• DTP*: According to DTP loads

• IPAK*: According to InfoPackage loads

• CDEL*: According to deletion of requests from InfoCubes

The first example of an application log created by a load into an InfoCube through an InfoPackage:

The second example of an application log created by a load into an InfoCube through a DTP:
