DTP on BW/4HANA

Standard DTP loads in which the source InfoProvider is an ADSO with offloaded data are currently not supported by SNP Outboard™ Datatiering on BW/4HANA systems.

It is possible to transfer already offloaded data on BW/4HANA systems by replacing the original DTP with a DTP from a CompositeProvider that consists of the BAdI Provider and the original ADSO.

Proceed as follows to transfer already offloaded data:

1. Create a CompositeProvider and add the original ADSO to it.

2. Perform an impact analysis for this ADSO.

3. Create a BAdI Provider and adjust the CompositeProvider.

4. Create a new transformation and DTP in which the source is the CompositeProvider.

5. Replace the original DTP in the data flows with the newly created DTP.

The already offloaded data has been transferred.
