DART Data Extracts
It is possible to export data via DART and use certain functions of SNP Outboard™ Datafridge to verify and validate data. To do so, start transaction ZSCD_FEX and execute the steps under Advanced export tools > DART extraction tool.
Data Export Process
You need to create manual variants for the data export via transaction FTW1A. These variants must use single values for each select option. We recommend exporting the data based on a combination of the company code + fiscal year (+ posting period). Each file must contain data for one company code and one fiscal year (and posting period if the result dataset would otherwise be too large).
Once you have created all the variants, execute the step Advanced export tools > DART Extraction Tool > Generate DART Extract for each variant. This task executes transaction FTW1A with a specified variant name. Once the standard processing is complete, it calculates hash values for all files that were created during the process. It also creates metadata entries in the tables ZSCD_FEX_DART_H and ZSCD_FEX_DART_FL.
Once DART files for all variants have been generated, export the content of the table ZSCD_FEX_DART_H via the standard FEX function:
-
Create a run ID.
-
Activate the run ID.
-
Add ZSCD_FEX_DART_H to the table pool.
-
Export the table pool content.
-
Export the content of ZSCD_FEX_DART_H:
-
Create sequences.
-
Generate programs.
-
Activate the conversion sequence.
-
Execute the conversion (via the monitor for example).
-
Export the calculated hashes to the CSV.
-
In addition, export the object attachment list by executing the task Export object attachment list.
Lastly, load the transparent data and attachments into SNP Outboard™ Datafridge like you would load a normal object.
