Introduction

If selective master data deletion is required, there are two options:
At the single record level, you can execute this task in master data maintenance and/or deletion mode.
Master data can only be deleted if:

  • No transaction data exists for the master data.

  • Master data is not used as an attribute for an InfoObject.

  • There are no hierarchies for this master data.

Step List

Fill all the fields to select the required master data:

P_IOBJNM

Name of the InfoObject

P_DELSID

If selected, SIDs will be deleted

P_DELTXT

If selected, the texts will be deleted

P_SIMUL

If selected, the run is only simulated

P_LOG

If selected, log entries are written

P_PROT

If selected, a detailed usage protocol is provided

P_SMODE

Search mode for MD where-used check (default = “O” – “Only one usage per value”)

P_CHKNLS

If selected, the program searches for usages in NLS

P_STORE

If selected, the where-used list is stored – changes related to the enhancement

P_REUSEA

If selected, the where-used list is reused – changes related to the enhancement (all)

P_REUSEU

If selected, the where-used list is reused – changes related to the enhancement (used)

P_REUSEN

If selected, the where-used list is reused – changes related to the enhancement (unused)
