Before you start the archiving process, you must customize an archiving object. The following prerequisites are required:
1. Set up the content repository in transaction OAC0.
2. Configure the archiving object customizing in transaction SARA > Customizing > (Archiving Object-Specific Customizing) Technical Settings.
3. Place the file in the area Storage System > Content Repository to define the content repository.
4. In the setting Delete Program > Delete Jobs, select Not Scheduled.
The customizing is accessible directly from the wizard.
There are several checks in place:

The logical file path is not entirely maintained.

An automatic deletion program run is scheduled.

An event-based start has been scheduled for the deletion job.

The content repository is not set for the archiving object.

The automatic storage of archive files is enabled in the storage system.

If the store before delete is not set, then a pop-up for confirmation will appear.
