ICF HTTP Service

Transaction: SICF

The SNP Outboard™ is deployed as an ICF (Internet Communication Framework) HTTP service running locally on the system. The service definition is delivered out of the box.

MANUL STEP: The service requires a separate setup on each system (no transports):

  1. Start transaction SICF and click Execute for maintaining the HTTP service.

  2. Expand the tree default_host and open the service dvd_crp_http.

  3. In the Logon Data tab, enter the created user and initial password from the Service user section.

  4. Save the settings and return to the Maintain service tree.

  5. Right-click dvd_crp_http and enable the Activate Service option.

Logon Group

The logon group delimits application servers that are used to execute incoming HTTP requests from an Archiving client.

If the single sign-on is enabled on the respective SAP system, the following authentication method for SNP OUTBOARD ICF service is recommended: Required with Logon Data. More details can be found in the SAP Note 2321966.
