Deleting Systems from the Monitoring Scope

If you want to delete any system from the monitoring scope, you must first stop the monitoring on this system. If you want to delete any monitoring that is still running on the system, you will receive the following information message: System <system name> is still being monitored! Cannot be deleted!

To stop the monitoring of the system, see the chapter Stopping the Monitoring of KPIs. Once the monitoring is stopped, you have two possibilities for deleting the system:

  1. Via the context menu for a system. Right-click the system and click Delete system.

  2. Via the menu bar by clicking Edit > Delete system.

Both options have the same result. This delete function removes the entire system definition from the monitoring together with all its collected transaction data.
