Executing the Data Crawler

The data crawling report searches for hard-coded values in objects that you specify and stores the data in the table /SNP/BBE5_HCV_CR. You can query its content using transaction /N/SNP/BBE5_HCV_REPORT.

NOTE

Class enhancements are not taken into account in the analysis.

Proceed as follows to execute the data crawler:

  1. Start transaction /N/SNP/BBE5_HCV_CRAWL.
  2. Specify an object type.
  3. Specify a profile ID.
    4. NOTE If you specify a profile ID, the transaction classifies the crawled information using the rules in the profile. If you do not specify a profile ID here, you can still use it in the report /SNP/BBE5_HCV_REPORT.
    NOTE You can create your own profile via transaction /N/SNP/BBE5_HCV_PROF_C or use the supplied profile /SNP/HCVA.
  4. Enter object names.
  5. Click Execute.
  • The search results are displayed.
