Detailed Comparison of Two States

This chapter describes how to generate an extended cross-reference list for individual values from a customizing analysis result. You can compare two states of a customizing table using analysis runs to see how the data has changed over time.

Prerequisites

• You have performed two customizing analyses.

Proceed as follows to display a detailed comparison of two states:

1. Start transaction /N/SNP/CW_TAB_MONITOR.
2. Select the result of a customizing analysis.
3. Click Execute.

• The result opens.

4. Click Compare with... to compare the displayed result with another result.
5. Select an earlier analysis result.
6. Click OK.

• Next to the Status column, the Difference? column is inserted; it displays whether there is a difference at the table level () or not ().
• Next to the Unequal (count) column, the columns Δ Equal, Δ Missing and Δ Unequal are inserted. These columns display the delta values.

7. Double-click one of the four new fields in this row in order to obtain more detailed information about a table with regard to the comparison of the two customizing runs.

• The comparison is displayed at the data record level.

8. Click Differences to filter according to data records that have changed.

• This displays all data records that were changed in the period between the two selected states. Modified cells are highlighted in red.
• The Differences in column lists all cells in which changes were found.
