Sizing Parameters

In the lower area of the screen, various options are available to adjust the sizing and obtain information about the corresponding impact.

On the left-hand side, you can adjust the following parameters:

• Tab: Application Server

  • Projected Performance: You can use this parameter to change the number of servers that are used as well as the value of the SAP Application Performance Standard that is used.

  • Effective Users: You can use this parameter to adjust the maximum number of users who can use the system.

• Tab: Database Server

  • Database Size: You can use this parameter to change the amount of data that is selected in the database.

  • Projected CPU Load: You can use this parameter to change the CPU load.

  • Monthly utilization (hours): You can use this parameter to change the number of hours per month during which the system is available.

• Tab: Subscription & Deployment

  • PRICING CONFIGURATION: You can use this parameter to change your pricing configuration.

  • DEPLOYMENT CONFIGURATION: You can use this parameter to change the configuration for the automated installation of your new system from CrystalBridge®.

Depending on your customization, the following information is displayed in charts and tables on the right-hand side:

• Tab: Recommended Landscape

  This table provides an overview of the resources that are recommended for your sizing and the resulting costs.

• Tab: Landscape Comparison

  This chart compares the costs that would result from moving your current landscape with the costs of implementing a carve-out scenario or a pay-as-you-go scenario.

• Tab: Pricing Details

  This table provides an overview of the costs depending on the server used as well as the selected license and service.
