Technical Requirements
Note the following before using the SolDoc Integrator for the first time:
- SAP® Solution Manager 7.2 with SP5 (recommended SP7):
- The basic Solution Manager setup is complete and correct.
- Required SAP® notes are implemented and up-to-date.
- Enable the process management API of SAP® Solution Manager. For more information on enabling the API, see the SAP® Solution Manager WIKI – Process Management.
- Make sure that there is an RFC connection to the system into which the interfaces are imported. Usually, the RFC connection NONE is used.
- Make sure that identified interfaces are available as CSV files (source files) and that they meet all criteria described in the Configuration chapter.
- The solution documentation must include a fully configured solution into which the interfaces are imported. You can open the solution documentation with the transaction SOLADM. “Fully configured” in this context refers to the following points:
- The Import or Development branch must be available. We recommend using the Import branch to import the interfaces.
- The inbound and outbound systems of an interface are identified by a logical component group. For all interfaces that are imported, the corresponding logical component groups must be maintained in the solution documentation. You can find further information in the chapter Finding Logical Component Groups.
