Generate Tasks for Parallel Read Builder

Step type: Simple user interface.

Step description: This step generates tasks for building the DTS partitions for tables with the parallel read setup. For more information, see the chapter Setting up the Parallel Read.

After you click Execute, a selection screen to customize the task generation appears:

• Table name: Restricts the tables for which the parallel read tasks are generated.

• Minimum number of rows in table: Text field with numeric value. The value sets the limit below which the partitioning tasks are not generated.

  This parameter is used for tables that come from the content with the parallel read setup. These tables might be small on the current system, and their parallelization will lead to worse performance.
